Bonjour!
Sorry for the English post- I do not speak French
Here is a photo of two French chasseurs and an armed yacht in England. The photo is after Dunkirk June-July 1940. I assume all the craft are French as there is a French destroyer to the far left that is not in this picture.
The center boat is C.98, one of the US built type from 1918. Can anyone identify and provide details for the armed yacht on the right?
Merci!

Hi Gregory,
Sorry my english is very bad, i prefer to continue in french.

Dimensions 26,20 m x 4,35 m x 0,95 m.
Machinery : 1 diesel, 1 shaft, 270 HP. Speed 11,5 knots.
Best regards. SL

Hi David,
Here is a photo of a ship of the Petrel class : Petrel 6 in 1938.
In Navy service, the armament was only a machine gun.
If the ship on your photo is really a Petrel, she is probably the Petrel 4.
This ship escaped from Normandy (Saint Vaast La Hougue) on june 14th, 1940. She was taken over by the british and joined the Royal Navy (july 3rd, 1940). She was returned to the French navy at the end of the war (1945).
Best regards SL
