Quel bateau est visible in front of "Marseillaise"?
Le bateau n'est pas mentionné la: http://www.netmarine.net/forces/operati ... sition.htm
Mais la position de quelque petites bateaux n'est pas correct. Par exemple des remorqueurs sont visible à coté de "Jean de Vienne" et "La Galissonnière", l'un trés probablement "Paon".

Il s'agit de l'ancien patrouilleur Primevère utilisé comme chaland-chauffeur (steam power station) depuis sa radiation des Listes de la Flotte le 05/2/1940. Ce patrouilleur était un chalutier japonnais construit en 1911 et acheté par la Marine Française en 09/1916. Après 1919, il a été utilisé comme annexe à différentes écoles à Toulon.

Bonjour,
Petit complément d'information : la photographie n° 3 prise à bord du CHANTEREVE est bien évidemment postérieure à la date du sabordage.
Le matelot qui pose sur cette photographie est en effet un matelot de la Kriegsmarine, aisément identifiable par son col ne comportant de revers blancs et par cette liette nouée de façon si particulière sous la cravate.

Petit complément, le yacht visible sur la photo 7 (à l'Angle Robert) n'est pas le Le Lennyan, mais la Flèche Blanche, dragueur AD193 qui va être saisi par la Kriegsmarine : GM 73 puis appareillera pour Salonique le 16/4/1943.

Didn't recognise "Kersaint"and "Vauquelin", because I took the barge (?) lying behind them for a quai.
Re: "Garonne". That was my first idea of identification, too, but the pictures I know of this ship show a deckhouse extending to the side of the ship under the boat near the funnel, which is missing on the picture. Nonetheless it may be "Garonne", if the deckhouse is only at starboard, for I don't have seen pictures of the portside of "Garonne".
Is there a better picture of "Flèche Blanche" somewhere?

For Dave a picture of La Ciotat. The sailing yacht to the right is still unknown, but the motoryacht to the left is very probably the "Ariel". In the background the fishery protection vessel "Rédacteur Alexandre".
